Dr. Shivadas Menon has completed MBBS (1981) & MD (1986) from Calicut University, India. He has more than 27 years of experience in UAE. He was associated with Aster DM Healthcare while we were managing Middle East Specialist Medical Centre, Abu Dhabi. He rejoined with us in April 2010, now working as a Specialist Physician (General Medicine) in Aster Clinic, Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Firoz Rahman Muhammod

Dentistry

Dr. Firoz Rahman completed his BDS in 1998 from KMC Manipal, and his Masters in Dental Specialties (Endodontics) in the year 2001, from Turners  dental school University of Manchester, UK. He is a Certified member of the European Endodontic society and a Fellow of the international honor dental organization (PFA) USA.. He was working with the Ministry of Health as an Endodontist prior to joining Aster DM Healthcare. He joined Aster DM Healthcare in September 2007 as a Specialist Endodontist, Medical Director and Head of Administration (Abu Dhabi region).

Dr. Azza Lotfi Mohamed El Matari

Dr. Azza Lotfi Mohamed El Matari is working as Specialist Family Medicine in Aster Clinic, United Square, Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Azza has over 25 years of experience in the field of Family Medicine. Her areas of specialization include comprehensive care of day to day health problems, chronic diseases and preventive measures for all health groups on the family members.

Dr. Raad Al Khayat is a Consultant Paediatrician at Aster Clinic, Dar Al Shifa, Abu Dhabi. He has completed his MBChB, DCH and is certified by the Arab Board of Paediatrics. Dr. Raad is also a member of the Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health (UK), as well as numerous other prestigious organizations. Dr. Raad carries with him over 30 years of experience in the field of Paediatrics in the Middle East and the UAE. His areas of special interests include Neonatology and Infectious Diseases.  

Dr. Akhter Hussain Ansari

• Dr. Ansari has over 30years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his MBBS in 1986 and Master's degree in 1990 at THE R.N.T medical college , Udaipur ( Rajastan University of Health Science), Rajastan India . He passed FRCSI (Sec.A) examination of the royal college of surgeon in ireland in the year 2001.

• He worked as Orthopedic Surgeon  Ankit Orthopedic Hospital , Udaipur  on 1990-Feb 1991and also worked in Central Hospital of Hindustan Zinc limited , Zawar mines , Udaipur from March 1991-April 1994

• In April 1994 he moved to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and worked there for 12 years as Specail Orthopedic Surgeon in various well know hospital ; HOFUF National Clinic Hofuf  Al Hassa, Mohd. Dossary Hospital Alkhobar,Al Mana General Hospital Dammam

• In June 2007 , moved to tHE UAE and continued his Orthopedic practice in NMC Specialty hospital and National Hospital in Abudhabi .

Dr. Reem Mohamed Ibraheem

Doctor Reem Mohamed Ibraheem is a specialist in diagnostic radiology, she received her medical education and MBBCH from Ain Shams University in 2007. She completed her training in diagnostic radiology in Dar Al Shefa and Al Maadi military hospitals in Cairo, she received a diploma from the Egyptian School of radiology in 2012, then was awarded an Egyptian fellowship in diagnostic radiology in 2015 and the Arab board of diagnostic radiology in 2017. Doctor Reem began her medical career in Cairo, Egypt at Abbasia chest hospital, Then in 2021, she moved to UAE to continue her career in recognized governmental and private  hospitals in Abu Dhabi.  She has published case reports in international medical journals. Her field of experience covers all fields of diagnostic radiology particularly ultrasound, CT and MRI. 

Dr. Khaled Zaki Abdel Hamid Ibrahim

Dr. Mahendra Kumar is an ENT Specialist at Aster Clinic, Tourist Club Area, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Mahendra Kumar  has 14 years of experience in the field of ENT. He completed her MBBS (1998) from Bangalore University in India. Following which he went on to complete his MS (2007) from the JN Medical College in India.  Prior to joining Aster DM Healthcare, Dr. Mahendra was working as an Associate professor of ENT in PES medical college, India then worked as ENT specialist in SEHA Al Dhafra Hospitals, Abu dhabi since 2013.  

Dr Ammar AlHussein

Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr.Ammar AlHussein is working as a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon with Aster Clinic Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi He finished his residency in orthopedic surgery with  A master degree from Aleppo University hospital,Syria  and in 2018 where he also gained his PhD degree in 2022 He worked as a lecturer in Aleppo University faculty of medicine and performed all sorts of Orthopedic operations individually and as part of a specialized team While gaining experience by working as a resident ,senior resident , Specialist and a lecturer at Aleppo University hospital he also worked as a specialist at his own private clinic , Syrian Red Crescent ,and other charities and private hospitals in Syria. He has a is an ambitious person who  always ready to go an extra mile to ensure the  patients' comfort and well being by using his knowledge in evaluation , diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries, like fractures, musculoskeletal pain, malformation and applying the principles of Evidence Based Medicine .
